Common questions

Is this an official LinkedIn product?
No. LinkedIn Activity Cleaner is an independent, unofficial browser extension built by a solo developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. “LinkedIn” is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.
Does it need my LinkedIn password?
No. The extension never asks for or stores your password. It runs inside the LinkedIn tab you're already signed into, using your existing session — the same way any browser extension reads a page you have open.
Is it safe to use? Could my account get restricted?
The extension paces every removal with adjustable Slow/Medium/Fast speeds and a built-in smart cooldown designed to avoid tripping LinkedIn's rate limits. For large clean-ups we recommend a moderate speed. As with any automation tool, use your own judgment.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you 10 removals a day across all five tools, on a rolling 24-hour window. Pro removes that daily cap entirely once you activate a license key from the extension's Upgrade screen.
Can I choose exactly what gets removed?
Yes. Posts, Comments, Reposts and Saved items support keyword filters, and Likes/Reactions can be filtered by reaction type. Every run also shows you a review list before anything is deleted, so you can deselect individual items.
Can I get a record of what was removed?
Yes. At the end of every run you can export a full report as CSV, JSON, or Excel, listing exactly what was removed and what was skipped.
